About us
Value Maritime Services (VMS) is part of the Value Group and is based in Amsterdam. We’re independent and steering our own course with a fresh office, a motivated crew, and a modern, open way of working. Our focus is on service and maintenance of exhaust gas cleaning systems, carbon capture systems, gas analysing equipment, water analysing equipment, and other marine technologies.
The role
As a Service Engineer, you will be part of our core crew from the very start of this new chapter. You’ll travel on board vessels to perform service and troubleshooting on scrubbers and gas analysing equipment, as well as related systems. This means there will be periods with a lot of travel, combined with time at our Amsterdam base and the possibility to work from home when tasks allow. Given the hands-on nature of the role and our base of operations, we are ideally looking for candidates living in or near the Amsterdam area.
Any experience with scrubber makers or analysing equipment is valuable – we welcome candidates with backgrounds from different manufacturers. Do you bring other expertise with other ship-related or technical systems? That’s a strong plus. Depending on your skills, we can shape the role together so it fits both you and the services our customers need.
