As Project Manager at Value Maritime in Rotterdam, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless installation of our Filtree systems. You manage several projects at once, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions with every installation. What will you do?
As part of a team of maritime specialists, you are committed to making the shipping industry more sustainable. Every project and installation is different. Depending on the location and type of ship, you anticipate the challenges that may arise. You make a plan for both the long and short term.
Commitment means commitment, you ensure that all parties are on the same page. The budget is agreed in advance and you keep a close eye on it. You do all this in a structured manner, and you record everything carefully. Clear communication both internally and externally is essential for a successful project that is completed within time, budget and scope.
You work well with the site manager and, if necessary, modify objectives and schedules as needs, planning or funding changes.
For the installations, you will be present in different locations within Europe. For this, you will travel about 3-5 days per month.

Your strengths
You maintain oversight over all the projects and are creative in solving problems that may arise. In addition, you keep it cool and balance fun and a good sense of humor with hard work!
- You have completed a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- You have experience in a (maritime) technical environment.
- You are a self-starter who likes to work in a team.
- You speak and write English, Dutch is an advantage.
- You are result oriented, proactive and easily communicate with stakeholders.
