Our office in Rotterdam is growing fast and we are looking for an office manager (a.k.a. Chief Happiness Officer) to get on board and be part of the Support Squad.
We believe that that a happy, healthy, and engaged team is fundamental to our success and growth journey. Making sure we invest in the place we work and support all our team (including you!) is what this role is all about.
Tasks
This role is for you if you like:
Being the go-to person for the team on all office related matters such as lunch arrangements, facility management, ordering supplies and more!
Organising team events and socials that make working at VM so great
Being responsible for employee onboarding and taking care of the team with things like birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, team recognition and more.
Managing the agendas and travel schedules for our two co-founders
Arranging travel itineraries (not a big part, but sometimes needed!)
Requirements
What we hope you bring:
You have some experience in a similar kind of position or in event management, being a personal assistant, or hospitality but are looking to make a switch to a fun new company that is setting out to have a positive impact
You speak English (Dutch would be great, but not a requirement)
You are available for 3 to 5 days per week (the more the merrier)
You are a self-starter who knows how to get things done
You love being the bringer of joy to our team 😉
You enjoy working in a dynamic environment but will also help us to implement new ways of working that bring structure and focus to how we do things
